Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her hometown. Both her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father and mother have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. She has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal as well as Sunyata. Ryder relocated with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. In those days, there wasn't electricity. Ryder was a prolific reader due to the lack of television. Ryder took acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12, at the American Conservatory Theatre. In 1986 she was offered her first major-screen appearance in the movie Lucas at just fifteen years old. Ryder suffered bullying in high school. Her hope was that acting would bring about a change.
