Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest child of the singer Dionne Warswick, and gospel music legend Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a family that was musical. The film, and her performance in it were not very well received, but the soundtrack and her rendition of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You was a hit for a few months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold more than 44 million albums and singles across the globe. In the same year she gave birth to her daughter Bobbi, Brown married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Her drug addiction began at this point and in 1996, she'd become a regular user.
