Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. There are two EPs on his discography: I'm Free (2012)[3]and a self-titled EP with Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first major label album. It was released March 31st, 2015. The second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016 and reached the top spot at 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have won numerous distinctions, which include the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year (Therapy Session).NF gained mainstream recognition in 2017 with Perception; the album charted at number one in the United States and was certified platinum, while its third single, "Let You Down" was ranked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 was a worldwide top-10 chart. The Search (2019) was his second album. The album also enjoyed the same commercial success. Feuerstein said that rap was for him a form of escape in his childhood. Feuerstein recorded songs on the Karaoke Machine and recorded his instrumentals on one mic while rapping on one. On the 29th of November of 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his first single "Alone". Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song was featured. In 2012, Feuerstein's work was noticed by Xist Music. His debut extended play I'm Free was released on May 2, 2012 by Feuerstein with production work from Profitt. The tracklist featured nine songs including "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version with Sean Simmonds, the singer of "Alone". Xist had previously teased the release of their self-titled extended plays, NF, but Feuerstein was unable to work with the label due to an argument, and the release of NF was delayed. NF included a song called "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams on its compilation album Move Vol 1. He released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", November 4 2013. Profitt also appeared on the song. The song included vocals by Danielle Swift and Brady Schmitz.
