Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor, comedian, and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actress. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and was a regular in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub was initially cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. At five years of age, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub was a student at Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she was kicked out of the school after her sophomore year. She then obtained an GED, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
